Job Description - Customer Solutions Specialist

Our client is a leading industry supplier of homewares, kitchenware, gifting, specialty toys, and artificial plants. It is a powerhouse wholesaler in Australia and New Zealand. Their brands and product ranges are synonymous with sophisticated designs, innovative products, and friendly customer service.

They are now looking to hire a Customer Solutions Specialist to execute processes and plans to deliver outstanding Customer Service that meets and exceeds customer and consumer expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Customer and Consumer inquiries via:
    • Email
    • Voice
    • Messaging
    • Social Media
  • Process customer orders including:
    • Email orders
    • Phone orders
    • Drop Shipping
    • EDI
  • Assist in managing back orders and holding orders.
  • Following up on internal requests (POD, tracking updates).
  • Identify and resolve Transport issues and returns.
  • Warranty and claim inquiries within the approved Delegation of Authority
  • Communicate effectively with Internal and External Customers.
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proven experience in customer service roles
  • Proficiency in managing various communication channels
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Knowledge of order processing systems
  • Dedication to continuous improvement
  • High attention to detail
  • Good sense of humor
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Operations-focused mindset
  • Experience in claims processing
  • Basic knowledge of Zendesk
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • ​Permanent work-from-home set-up
