What we do 🪵

Our mission is to empower building materials suppliers with great technology. There are over $1,000,000,000,000 of building materials bought in the US every year, and many of these transactions happen in on-prem point-of-sale systems. We want to bring these transactions online, enabling better experiences for contractors and homeowners alike.

What you'll achieve with us 🥇

You'll be on the ground floor of a high-growth company:

• Be located in Metro Manila or surrounding locations (Laguna, Rizal, Cavite, and Bulacan), overseeing data exports from legacy POS systems like QuickBooks, Decor Fusion, RockSolid, and more.

• Perform manual data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail.

• Utilize tools like Salesforce, Google Workspace, internal Google tools, and Microsoft Excel to streamline and support your work.

Compensation and Benefits

• 💰 Compensation: $700/month

• 📝 Independent Contractor: You will be responsible for filing and paying your own taxes.

• 🍽️ Monthly dinners in Alabang/BGC area.

• 📚 Unlimited audiobooks via our team subscription to Libro.

• 🛑 Other benefits below are not included. As an independent contractor, you are not eligible for benefits.

Requirements ✅

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline.

• You are proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, and point-of-sale systems.

• You have exceptional attention to detail.

• You have a reliable high-speed internet connection and your own laptop.

• Your availability aligns with the schedule: Tuesdays to Saturdays, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Philippine Time.

• You’re prepared to work overtime during client go-live events and be on-call as needed.

• This is a full-time role, requiring flexibility to work beyond regular hours, especially during go-lives.

• You have hands-on experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

• You are proficient in using Salesforce.

• You are familiar with Google Internal Tools.

• You excel in working with Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.

• You have prior experience in a fast-growing startup environment.

Interview Process 📝

1. Screening Call (30 minutes): 📞 A remote call with Jackie, our first Data Lead.

2. Interview (30 minutes): 💻 A remote interview with Amanda, Head of Finance, Recruiting, and Operations.

3. Homework Assignment (2-hour prep): 📝 After the introductory call, instructions for the homework task will be sent.

4. On-Site Interview (1 hour): 🏢 An in-person interview focusing on your ability to learn quickly.

5. Culture Fit Discussion (30 minutes): 🌟 A remote collaborative conversation with Karen and Jackie focused on your background, career aspirations, and alignment with our company values.

6. Final Call (30 minutes): 🤝 A remote interview with Tyler, who will be managing you.

7. Reference Check: ✅ Provide two substantial references for evaluation.

19. Nick (CEO): studied math & computer science at Stanford; worked as a trader at Bridgewater & Citadel and as a PM at Google & Enigma; distantly related to the founder of the Hershey company 🍫
