Draftsperson (Archicad) - Work from home

• Prepare and develop accurate working drawings, construction documentation, and detailed plans using ArchiCAD 27 (and transitioning to ArchiCAD 28).
• Make timely corrections and amendments to drawings based on client, consultant, and internal feedback.
• Ensure all drawings comply with current Australian building codes and standards, with a focus on Queensland and NSW regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure all plans meet project specifications and company requirements.
• Coordinate and manage revisions to working drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation and file management.
• Assist in resolving any design or documentation-related queries during construction.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving drafting standards and templates within the business.
• Support long-term projects and contract work, delivering accurate and high-quality drafting outputs within agreed timelines.
• Other role specific duties as they arise.

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Design or similar is highly desirable.
• Relevant qualification in Drafting, Building Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Draftsperson in the residential construction industry.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD 27 (and readiness to transition to ArchiCAD 28).
• Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards, specifically relating to Queensland and NSW residential projects.
• Ability to produce accurate, high-quality working drawings and construction documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external consultants.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
