Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced E-commerce Manager to oversee and enhance our online operations. This role goes beyond traditional order processing, focusing on optimizing workflows, managing the online storefront, and driving excellent customer experiences.

You will lead initiatives to improve website performance, streamline order fulfillment, and implement automation, while ensuring all operations run accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate has eCommerce or logistics experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage customer orders via the website and phone, ensuring 100% accuracy.
  • Coordinate and schedule site deliveries with logistics and delivery partners.
  • Provide high-level customer support, including handling inquiries, sales calls, and product recommendations.
  • Manage and optimize the online product catalog, including listings, categories, and website appearance.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline order processing and operational workflows.
  • Validate order details, invoices, and pricing, ensuring no errors.
  • Analyze order and delivery costs to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
  • Prepare quotations and sales-related documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Monitor key metrics and report on operational performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Oversee AI-powered tools and agent prompts to ensure accurate, efficient automation across order management, product updates, and customer interactions
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in eCommerce, logistics, or online operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage online sales platforms and digital workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in handling orders, invoices, and pricing.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in customer-facing interactions.
  • Analytical and process-oriented, with a proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
  • Proficiency with eCommerce platforms, Xero, and digital tools, and willingness to learn about construction-related products.
  • Strong time management and reliability, including flexibility to start early if required.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and open to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
  • University degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering, or Construction is advantageous.
  • Experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, and workflow automation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Flexibility in work hours and location, with a focus on managing energy rather than time.
