Remote opportunity working in the Philippines for a US company!  

Job Summary 

The HCM Data Management Specialist partners with internal and external partners to support the client’s conversion from one system to another or supports the optimization of the client’s existing HCM Vendor.  The HCM Data Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all data entered into the client’s HCM system. This includes maintaining employee data through dual-maintenance, uploads of employee documents, managing document transfers between client systems, and auditing parallel payrolls.  

Job Duties 

  • Enter, update, and maintain employee data in the client’s HCM system including but not limited to personal and employment information, job codes, pay rates, direct deposits, earnings, and deductions. 
  • Audit the HCM system setup to ensure data accuracy. 
  • Manage audits of parallel payrolls as part of a client’s conversion to ensure consistency across systems. 
  • Transfer data and documents from one system to another, ensuring accuracy and completeness.  
  • Work with internal partners to present discrepancies and mitigate project risk. 
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of HCM/payroll system functionality. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Required Skills 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 
  • Experience with HCM, payroll, and document management systems. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Working understanding of HCM principles, practices, and procedures. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. 
  • HCM system experience required. 
  • Client HCM Implementation experience preferred. 
  • Knowledge of commonly used payroll platforms preferred. 
  • US payroll processing experience preferred, including an understanding of US payroll taxes. 
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel experience required. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  
  • Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times. 
  • Must be able to participate in video conferences/meetings.
