Job Description - Insurance Data Processing Specialist

Position Summary:


The Insurance Data Processing Specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating insurance records, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all data. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of work efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in data entry or processing, a solid understanding of various insurance types, and familiarity with Certificates of Insurance (COI).



Job Details:

  • Work from home
  • Monday to Friday
  • 7 AM to 4 PM I PH Time (1 HC)
  • 1 PM to 10 PM I PH Time (2 HC)
  • PH Holidays Followed

Responsibilities:


  • Utilize the Zendesk Ticketing System to manage and process requests efficiently.

  • Review Certificates of Insurance (COI) to verify the accuracy of populated data.

  • Identify and address any missing or incorrect information on forms.

  • Perform data entry to ensure the completeness of insurance records.

  • Close tickets in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Assist with ad hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of one year of experience in data entry or data processing.

  • Knowledge of General Liability Insurance, Auto Insurance, Workers' Compensation Insurance, or Umbrella Insurance.

  • Strong understanding of Certificates of Insurance (COI).

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
