Insurance Verification Specialist (Neurology & Allergy) | Permanent WFH

We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Verification Specialist with expertise in Neurology and Allergy practices. The role involves verifying patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility to ensure smooth billing and claims processing. Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits for Neurology and Allergy services.
• Accurately enter and update insurance information in NextGen EMR.
• Communicate with insurance companies to confirm benefits and resolve discrepancies.
• Work closely with providers, billing, and front-office staff to ensure claims accuracy.
• Assist in resolving prior authorization and referral requirements.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and payer-specific guidelines.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in insurance verification.
• Background in Neurology and Allergy specialties preferred.
• Proficiency in NextGen software required.
• Strong understanding of healthcare insurance plans, coverage, and policies.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
