About the Role

As a JavaScript Programmer specializing in e-commerce integrations, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our e-commerce systems. Your primary focus will be on integrating third-party services, enhancing user experiences, and ensuring smooth transactions for our customers. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, back-end engineers, and product managers.

What you’ll do

• Integration Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations with various e-commerce platforms, ERP platforms, shipping providers, and inventory management systems.

  • Implement APIs and webhooks to synchronize data between our e-commerce platform and external services.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with back-end developers to define APIs and data structures.

  • Collaborate with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Documentation:

  • Maintain clear and concise technical documentation for integrations, APIs, and processes.

  • Document any customizations or modifications made to third-party services.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.

• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) and their APIs as well as ERP platforms.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
