Job Description - Learning & Development Officer - Work from home, Midshift
The Learning & Development Officer plays a key role in delivering engaging and effective training programs to support the development of global offshore teams. This role focuses on identifying learning needs, creating and facilitating training solutions (including digital delivery), and ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance standards. The Officer will manage content delivery through digital platforms such as Tribal Habits and Microsoft Teams, and work closely with department leads to build workforce capability and support employee success across regions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement training programs aligned with organisational goals
Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill, knowledge and motivational gaps
Coordinate and facilitate workshops and e-learning sessions
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Collaborate with department heads to support employee development initiatives
Manage learning management systems (Tribal Habits) and digital learning tools
Create engaging online learning content
Create engaging educational content to be taught over Microsoft Teams
Support onboarding and induction programs for new employees
Prepare reports and presentations on training outcomes
A bachelor's degree in HR, Education, or Training & Development Qualification
5+ years of experience in a similar role, with excellent verbal and presentation skills
Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles
Experience with the Tribal Habits LMS or similar
Ability to analyse data and generate insights from training metrics
Project management and organisational skills
Adaptability and creativity in developing engaging learning content
Animal anatomy and physiology knowledge
