Live Medical Scribe- Immunology Practice

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Live Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide real-time documentation support to healthcare providers during patient encounters, ensuring accurate, thorough, and timely medical records. This role allows clinicians to focus on patient care while maintaining high-quality clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document patient encounters in real-time during virtual or in-person consultations.
• Accurately record patient histories, physical exams, assessments, plans, and other relevant information as dictated by the provider.
• Review and update the electronic health record (EHR) to ensure all entries are complete and compliant with documentation standards.
• Track lab results, imaging, and follow-up appointments as requested by the provider.
• Assist in managing provider schedules, order entry (if applicable), and patient communications.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with the clinical team to ensure smooth workflow and accurate data entry.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred (e.g., Nursing, Biology, Health Sciences).

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a live medical scribe - required
• Well versed in navigating EMR/EHR systems
• Experience in allergy clinic/ immunology practice highly preferred.

Skills:

• Strong medical terminology knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and follow provider instructions precisely.
• Typing speed - 60wpm

Technical Requirements (for remote/live virtual scribes):

• Stable internet connection and noise-canceling headset.
• Private workspace suitable for confidential documentation.
