Job Description - Loan Processor


An established Australian mortgage brokerage, partnering with a broad panel of lenders to deliver tailored home loan solutions for first-home buyers, property investors, and refinancing clients is seeking a Loan Processor to oversee the end-to-end processing of loan applications.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end processing of loan applications, working closely with brokers, lenders, and clients to ensure seamless outcomes.
  • Prepare, review, and process loan applications from submission through to settlement.
  • Liaise with brokers, lenders, and clients to obtain and verify required documentation.
  • Accurately input and maintain client records within Infynity CRM and associated tools, including Trello, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp.
  • Monitor application progress, follow up on outstanding requirements, and ensure compliance with lender policies and guidelines.
  • Coordinate loan submissions and updates through aggregator platforms, including Finsure.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and take initiative to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to mortgage brokers as required.
  • Prepare compliance documentation and ensure all files meet regulatory and internal standards.
  • Follow up with clients to obtain outstanding documents, signatures, or information.
  • Track critical dates, milestones, and deadlines to ensure smooth and timely settlements.
  • Manage valuation ordering, loan processing, credit submissions, and preliminary credit analysis.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client and financial information at all times.
What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Loan Processor.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership, work independently, and identify solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with well-developed organisational skills.
  • Confidence using cloud-based systems and CRM platforms.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to Australian mortgage processes where required.
  • Self-motivated, highly proactive, and comfortable taking initiative rather than working solely from instruction.
  • Strong desire to learn and upskill, particularly in credit analysis.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond to support outcomes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with the Australian mortgage industry and lender requirements.
  • Experience using Infynity CRM and the Finsure aggregator platform.
  • Understanding of compliance and documentation standards within mortgage lending.
