Mass Market Sales Representative

We're looking for a driven Mass Market Sales Representative to grow our presence in the mass market channel — prospecting new customers, expanding existing accounts, and building long-term partnerships that keep our revenue moving in the right direction. You'll collaborate daily with our U.S.-based team, serving as the connective tissue between customers and internal departments so every order, program, and relationship runs smoothly. This is a relationship-driven, detail-heavy role, so we're looking for someone who thrives on prospecting, follow-through, and knowing the floral industry inside and out.

What you'll do

• Customer Acquisition & Prospecting: Develop and execute a new business focus plan, prospecting daily through calls, referrals, events, and trade shows, then qualifying and prioritizing leads based on fit and revenue potential.


• Proposals & Onboarding: Prepare proposals, pricing programs, and presentations tailored to customer needs, and support onboarding including vendor set-up and credit applications.


• Account Management & Growth: Build annual sales forecasts by customer and territory, manage prebooks, estimates, and replenishment cycles, and conduct regular business reviews to track performance and introduce new programs.


• Sales Execution & Communication: Keep internal teams aligned with customer forecasts, product needs, and order details, and communicate shortages, ship dates, and credits quickly and accurately — including updates across customer portals, EDI systems, or platforms like iTrade.


• Quality & Issue Resolution: Monitor product quality, delivery, and satisfaction, addressing issues promptly and ensuring credits and returns are processed accurately with minimal financial exposure.


• Industry Engagement: Stay closely informed on floral and mass market industry trends, sharing insights with customers to strengthen partnerships and support broader account growth.

What you'll bring

• Minimum 4 years of outside sales experience within the flower/floral industry — this is a non-negotiable requirement.


• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with a track record of building lasting customer relationships.


• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and consistent follow-through.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP/CRM platforms (such as Dynamics BC, Zoho, or HubSpot) strongly preferred.


• Comfort engaging with U.S.-based customers and teams by phone, email, and video across time zones.


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; high school diploma required.


• A reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
