Job Description - Medical Receptionist - Work from home

  • Efficiently manage and schedule patient appointments to optimize clinic resource utilization.
  • Coordinate closely with doctors and pharmacy teams to maintain an up-to-date appointment calendar.
  • Handle approximately 40 calls per day, answering patient queries with professionalism and care.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to patient and internal emails.
  • Provide direct administrative support to doctors for internal inquiries and tasks.
  • Use internal communication tools to ensure seamless coordination with doctors and team members.
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets within agreed timeframes.
  • Manage patient script inquiries and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Oversee rescheduling of appointments and effectively communicate any changes to patients.
  • Resolve patient complaints in a timely, respectful, and solution-focused manner.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a remote medical or clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, telehealth processes, or online patient care protocols.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage high-volume workflows.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and patient-focused approach, especially when handling sensitive healthcare matters.
  • Proficiency in using communication and scheduling tools (e.g., telephony systems, CRMs, practice management software).
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset to adjust to changing priorities and clinical workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
