Medical VA (EA/Billing/Front Desk)- Athena EMR | Pain Management

We are looking for an experienced Medical Virtual Assistant to support a busy Pain Management / Spine / Sports Medicine practice. The ideal candidate has experience with Executive Assistance, Medical Billing, and Front Desk operations, and is proficient in Athena EMR.

Responsibilities:
• Provide executive and administrative support to the provider
• Manage patient scheduling, calls, and front desk coordination
• Perform medical billing tasks including claims follow-ups and payment posting
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Maintain and update patient records in Athena EMR

Requirements:
• Prior US healthcare VA experience
• Athena EMR experience required
• Background in Pain Management, Spine, or Sports Medicine preferred
• Experience with medical billing and patient coordination
• Strong communication and organizational skills
