Medical Virtual Assistant - (US Registered Nurse)

We are seeking a highly organized and patient-centered Medical Administrative Assistant to support our clinical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in medical practice workflows, and the ability to manage a high volume of administrative tasks. A licensed USRN is highly preferred, and we will prioritize hiring candidates who meet this qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Communication & Coordination
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and accuracy
• Assist patients with inquiries, follow-ups, and instructions
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth patient experience
• Scheduling & Admin Support
• Manage patient appointments, follow-up visits, and provider schedules
• Coordinate and update schedules using Athena EMR
• Verify patient information and update charts as needed
• Medication & Clinical Support
• Process medication refill requests in coordination with the provider
• Ensure proper documentation and follow established clinic protocols
• Assist in managing and following up on provider orders

• US Registered Nurse (USRN) – Highly Preferred
• Experience with Athena EMR is an advantage
• Prior experience in a medical administrative or clinical support role
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Detail-oriented and able to follow clinical workflows accurately
