Who The Client Is: The client is an exciting construction tech startup based in Perth poised for significant growth, serving international construction subcontractors who need to record work that can't be quoted upfront - the essential variations and ad-hoc works that occur on every construction project. Their platform replaces traditional paperwork, digitizing the entire process from initial detail entry through to client signing and billing integration, eliminating manual paperwork and reducing payment delays. At $150 AUD for 50 sheets, the solution represents a low entry barrier for new customers who typically spend similar amounts on paper sheets alone, not including time spent administering manual processes and without the additional benefits the platform provides. The solution transforms how subcontractors document, approve, and bill for variation work, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks and improving cash flow.
Role Overview: This role is critical to our client's significant growth trajectory. We are looking for an exceptional Sales Representative with proven high-volume outbound calling experience who can connect with time-poor construction subcontractors and clearly articulate platform value to these discerning users. You will be responsible for cold calling Australian construction subcontractors across all trades, qualifying leads based on their individual but commonly-faced challenges, and booking them in for product demonstrations with the app founder. This role focuses exclusively on qualification and demo scheduling—not closing deals or running demonstrations.
