Position: Parabroker / Loan Strategist Support
Salary: PHP 61,000 - PHP 100,000/month (depending on level of experience)
Working Hours & Conditions: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Sydney Time (7:00 AM – 4:00PM PH Time)
Holidays: New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day
OVERVIEW:
The company is seeking a highly capable Parabroker / Loan Strategist Support team member. This role sits at the centre of our client experience and lending operations. You will work directly with the broker to shape loan strategy, apply policy, run scenarios, and drive deals from fact find through to formal approval, supported by a dedicated applications team who handles data entry (Mercury & AOL) and a tracking team who complete follow-ups with the banks and provide updates to our clients.
This is a growth-focused role suitable for someone who is confident with lending policy, enjoys solving client scenarios, and wants a clear pathway toward becoming a senior parabroker or loan strategist.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Loan Strategy & Credit Policy
Review client fact finds, credit reports, bank statements, and supporting documents.
Apply lender policy across major banks and non-banks.
Structure deals for OO and INV lending, including refinance, purchase, cash-out, and portfolio growth scenarios.
Learn and eventually handle complex structures: SMSF, Trust lending, Self-employed (one- and two-year financials), Company borrowers & guarantors
2. Pricing, Scenarios & Valuations
Complete pricing requests and borrowing capacity and servicing assessments.
Order and manage valuations (desktop, kerbside, full).
Compare and present product options in line with BID requirements.
3. File Progression to Formal Approval
Work closely with the dedicated applications team, who complete all data entry (Mercury, ApplyOnline, Doc collection).
Assist with:
Reviewing applications for accuracy
Preparing submission notes
Managing outstandings
Requesting missing items
Liaising with assessors to drive files to formal approval
Communicate with clients via email and—when confident—phone.
4. Stakeholder Communication
Liaise with lender BDMs and assessors to escalate, follow up, and troubleshoot applications.
Coordinate with internal applications and tracking teams to ensure a smooth client experience.
Communicate with clients professionally regarding strategy, next steps, outstanding requirements, and approval outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills & Experience
1–3+ years in an AU mortgage broking support role (parabroker, credit analyst, or broker assistant).
Strong grasp of lender credit policy across major banks.
Ability to analyse income, liabilities, and financials.
Comfort with scenarios and structuring, OR a strong desire and aptitude to learn quickly.
Excellent written communication skills (mandatory); verbal communication optional at first.
Experience with Quickli (essential), Mercury & BrokerEngine (preferred but not essential).
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
