Role Description and Responsibilities
In undertaking this role you will focus on assisting the principal adviser of the practice in delivering financial planning services to clients and prospective clients. The role is very much a team oriented one, supplementing the efforts of the principal adviser and working well with other staff.

- Assist with the completion and structuring of advice being prepared for new clients
- Research technical matters involved with advice being developed
- Financial modelling associated with strategy work for clients
- Attending to correspondence in and out of the office including email
- Obtain portfolio information (primarily from the web) required for clients, team leader and FA’s
- Assist the FA’s and Team leader with administration items
- Keep up to date with industry legislation
- Liaise with fund managers and BDM’s
- General office duties
- Assist with the development of all forms of advice to clients
Previous experience
- At least 1 – 2 years similar experience in a financial services organisation
- Knowledge of a recognised Financial Planning Software
- Client service focus
- Solid knowledge and delivery of the financial planning process
- Technical knowledge of superannuation, retirement planning, debt, SMSFS, estate planning and taxation
- Strong investment market knowledge
- Excellent time management & organisational skills and the ability to identify areas or methods
which could be improved
- Excellent client relationship management with high satisfaction and retention levels
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships in a professional manner
