Etrading Software is looking for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to take ownership of our payroll operations in the Philippines. This role is ideal for someone who has managed full-cycle payroll manually for 300+ employees, knows the ins and outs of PH government compliance, and has helped build or scale payroll processes from scratch. This role will only report onsite once a week.

What You’ll Do

• Run end-to-end Philippine payroll for 200-300 employees (semi-monthly)


• Accurately compute salaries, adjustments, final pay, 13th month, and other pay components


• Prepare and file all BIR forms including 2316, 1601-C, and 1604-CF with 100% compliance


• Handle statutory contributions and remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)


• Reconcile payroll reports with Finance and support audit and journal entry requirements


• Maintain employee benefits records and payroll documentation securely and accurately


• Manage billing and reconciliation of employee benefits (e.g., HMO, insurance, allowances) in coordination with Finance and Ops


• Draft and issue payroll-related memos when necessary (overpayments, disputes, etc.)


• Proactively recommend improvements to payroll accuracy and efficiency


• Collaborate with HR and Admin on onboarding, offboarding, and compliance tasks

What You Bring

• 4+ years of end-to-end Philippine payroll experience for 300+ headcount


• Proven background in manual and Excel-based payroll processing


• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, IF statements, XLOOKUP, etc.)


• Experience preparing and filing BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG reports


• Strong working knowledge of labor standards, government benefits, and audit protocols


• Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality in handling payroll data


• Strong coordination skills and comfort working with HR, Finance, and external partners

Preferred

• Background in accounting, finance, or audit


• Experience leading or supporting BIR or SSS audits


• Exposure to payroll system transitions or process automation
