We are seeking an experienced offshore team member with prior hands-on experience in an Australian personal insurance brokerage. This role supports advisers across the full advice lifecycle, from post–fact find through to policy issuance and in-force handover.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Adviser Support
Work closely with advisers and the sales team to support new business and ongoing client management
Create, manage, and maintain call lists, follow-up schedules, and adviser task lists
Ensure advisers are fully prepared for client calls and meetings, with accurate documentation and notes
Act as a Personal Assistant to advisers, helping prioritise workloads, deadlines, and case progression
Proactively flag bottlenecks, delays, or missing information before they become issues
2. End-to-End Insurance Administration
Manage the full insurance application process from post–fact find through to policy issuance
Prepare, lodge, and track applications across Australian insurer portals
Coordinate underwriting requirements, including:
Medical evidence
Questionnaires
Financials and supporting documentation
Liaise with insurers, underwriters, and BDMs to progress cases efficiently
Monitor outstanding requirements and actively chase outcomes
Ensure policies are issued accurately and handed over correctly for in-force servicing
Essential Experience & Skills
Previous experience working in a personal risk / life insurance brokerage
Strong understanding of:
Life Insurance
Total & Permanent Disability (TPD)
Income Protection
Trauma / Critical Illness
Experience supporting full-advice processes (not general advice or call-centre only roles)
Familiarity with Australian insurer portals and underwriting workflows
Direct experience supporting advisers and sales teams
Strong organisational skills with exceptional follow-up discipline
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Highly Regarded
Experience acting as a senior administrator, backend lead, or Personal Assistant within a brokerage
CRM experience, including:
HubSpot
Omnium
CDM Solutions
Australian insurer portals
Strong process-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency, accountability, and clean handovers
Final Reality Check
