Job Description:

• Uses MMReader application to read and tag at a rate sufficient to achieve a weekly prospect average commensurate with the benchmarks.


• Uses MMReader application to ensure all relevant client prospects are tagged on press news items.


•  Applies sound judgement based on reading conventions and client brief.


• Engages constructively with all ‘missed content’ feedback to improve performance


• Uses MMReader application to ensure client prospects that do not match the context of a press news item are not tagged.


• Applies sound judgement based on reading conventions and client briefs.


• Engages constructively with all ‘returned content’ feedback to
  improve performance.

Requirements:

•  Tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential.


• Sound technical and analytical skills


• Experience with word processing and/or data entry. Familiarity or experience in media monitoring industry desirable. Experience in adapting to constantly changing work environments. Previous experience delivering to strict deadlines with minimal supervision


• Accustomed to working flexible hours, i.e. night, early morning. Excellent team player and capable
  communicator. Sound knowledge of Australian current affairs, political and economic news issues.
  Keen awareness of news topicality and client impact. Ability to determine priorities and use initiative
  within agreed parameters.


• Sound PC skills


• Excellent written and oral communication skills
