We are seeking an organized, proactive Procurement Specialist to support a growing U.S. based manufacturer of advanced X ray inspection systems. Our systems help industries like medical device manufacturing and electronics inspect with speed and precision, and that starts with getting the right parts, at the right cost, at the right time. In this role, you’ll manage purchasing from request to payment, partner with suppliers, operations, and accounting, and keep materials flowing so production stays on schedule. Your work directly supports on time builds, healthy supplier relationships, and smart cost control.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Permanent Work from Home

  • Paid Time Off

  • Monthly Performance Bonus

  • Annual Bonus

  • Health Allowance

  • Internet Alloance

What you’ll do

  • Purchase Requests & Order Management: Review purchase requests, create and issue purchase orders in the ERP system, and confirm pricing, quantities, lead times, and delivery dates with suppliers. Keep PO records accurate and up to date from issue to close.

  • Supplier Sourcing & Relationships: Source and evaluate suppliers for components, raw materials, and services. Request and compare quotes, help negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain strong, professional relationships with domestic and international vendors.

  • Order Tracking & Expediting: Monitor open orders, follow up on confirmations and shipments, and expedite critical items to prevent production delays. Flag shortages, backorders, and delivery risks to operations early.

  • Inventory & Production Support: Work with operations, engineering, and production planning to align purchasing with material requirements and build schedules. Help maintain appropriate stock levels and avoid excess or obsolete inventory.

  • Invoice Matching & AP Support: Perform three way matching between POs, receiving records, and vendor invoices, and resolve price, quantity, and quality discrepancies with suppliers and receiving. Help process and code vendor invoices, answer vendor payment inquiries, and back up the accounts payable team so suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

  • Supplier Records & Reporting: Maintain supplier files, W9s, certifications, and approved vendor lists. Prepare reports on open orders, spend, lead times, and supplier performance to support better purchasing decisions.

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, ideally in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with or solid knowledge of accounts payable, including invoice processing, three way matching, vendor setup, and payment cycles

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • Hands on experience with an ERP or purchasing system such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar

  • Solid understanding of the purchasing cycle, including POs, lead times, and receiving

  • Experience sourcing electronic, mechanical, or custom manufactured components is a strong plus

  • Familiarity with international suppliers, shipping terms, and freight coordination is a plus

  • Strong Excel skills for tracking orders, comparing quotes, and building reports

  • Clear, professional written and verbal English communication, with confidence in following up with suppliers

  • Strong negotiation instincts and attention to detail

  • A proactive, organized mindset and a habit of following through

  • Availability to work during U.S. business hours

  • A reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace

How you work

  • Problem solving: You find workarounds when parts are late, short, or out of stock.

  • Teamwork: You partner closely with operations, engineering, and accounting to keep production moving.

  • Sound judgment: You weigh cost, quality, and timing to make smart purchasing decisions.

  • Planning & organizing: You stay ahead of lead times and manage many open orders at once.

  • Professionalism: You represent the company well with every supplier and teammate.

  • Quality focus: You make sure what’s ordered, received, and paid all match, every time.

  • Dependability: You follow through on every order and others can count on you.

  • Ethics: You act with integrity in supplier selection, negotiations, and spending.
