Job Description - Purchasing Coordinator

About the role 

A celebrity-owned lifestyle food brand based in the United States is looking to add a Purchasing Coordinator who will provide procurement support remotely from the Philippines during U.S. Pacific Standard Time. 

Time: U.S. Pacific

Salary: Up to$7/hr

About you

Are you a process-driven professional? Do you have experience managing end-to-end purchasing from order to delivery? We’re looking for a smart, detail-oriented, and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join a fast-paced, process-driven team. You’ll work behind the scenes to manage inventory, stage purchases, and reconcile orders across multiple platforms — helping keep operations smooth and efficient. If you are someone who excels at organization, has a knack for customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities 

  • Work with the kitchen team to manage inventory levels and keep databases updated.
  • Coordinate purchases across multiple kitchens, vendors, and platforms.
  • Place weekly orders for critical items such as utensils, first aid kits, kitchen supplies, and more.
  • Handle invoicing, returns, and general purchase reconciliations.
  • Process forms submitted by the kitchen team and management 
  • Reconcile refunds with third-party platforms and vendors.
  • Various strategic and ad-hoc projects (as needed) 
  • At least 3 years of experience with data analytics, reconciliation, finance, accounting, or similar process-oriented roles (ideally with U.S. client accounts) 
  • Experience with data entry, data analytics, and managing spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with invoicing, reconciliations, and vendor coordination
  • Process-driven mindset and problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Highly-organized and able to multitask
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Superb written English
  • Bachelor Degree or higher (summa, magna or cum laude and/or Academic Scholar from a reputable college preferred) 

Preferred requirements

  • Bonus: You have direct procurement and/or purchasing experience
  • Bonus: You have guest service, hospitality, or food service experience
