Job Description - Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards in Xero

Processing payroll with Xero

Manage and reconcile purchase and sale invoices

Manage fixed asset register

Process general journals

Prepare BAS workpaper

Prepare financial statement workpapers

Prepare draft tax returns

General administrative practice tasks. inc but not limited to

Following a process for entity setup

Setting up new clients in software

Adding new clients to the system

Following up clients with templated emails

Requirements

3 to 5 years of relevant experience

Must have experience with AU or NZ Accounting

Must be knowledgeable with Xero

Must be attentive to details and a fast learner

Can easily adapt to new processes and technologies

With a good attitude, show initiative and driven

Ability to work independently and can collaborate with a team

Must have an excellent communication skill

Work Arrangement

Work Setup: Flexible Work Arrangement

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, should complete nine 9 hours work, inclusive of one 1 hour lunch break
