Job Role: Senior Graphic Designer

Compensation range: $2,000 - 3,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview: We’re looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer who specializes in creating high-impact visual content for social platforms and paid campaigns. This role is performance-driven and focused on producing creative that not only looks strong but drives measurable results across paid and organic channels. The ideal candidate brings a strong design foundation, a sharp understanding of how social content performs, and the ability to create performance optimized graphics and motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop visually compelling static designs for social media and advertising campaigns across multiple brands, covering both paid ads and organic content.
• Produce short-form motion and video content that fits naturally within each platform’s environment while maintaining feed consistency.
• Develop conversion-focused paid creative, including multiple variations for A/B testing, to drive engagement and results.
• Apply intentional design thinking, considering audience behavior, layout, color, and campaign objectives in all creative work.
• Adapt designs to align with brand guidelines while tailoring content for different campaigns and platforms.
• Manage projects independently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Clearly communicate the rationale behind design choices and creative direction to team members and stakeholders.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Graphic Design with a strong focus on social and paid media. 
• A portfolio presenting high-quality social media work that quickly communicates the ability to craft content that resonates and delivers results.
• Proven ability to create conversion-focused paid creative and platform-native organic content, including short-form video.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong English communication skills with the ability to explain design thinking and creative direction.
• Senior-level experience, able to operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and effective time management skills.
• Stable job history and a long-term mindset.
• Previous experience working in a remote setup and availability to work in line with Australian business hours.
