Job Description - Senior Manager - GL & Tax [Philippines]

Lead day-to-day general ledger operations and monthly/quarterly/year-end close processes
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
Manage tax compliance activities, including VAT, income tax, and other indirect taxes
Provide audit support and maintain robust internal controls
Supervise and mentor a small team of GL and tax professionals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and identify areas for automation and improvement

At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory role
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or CMA certification preferred
Strong expertise in GL accounting, financial reporting (GAAP/IFRS), and tax compliance
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
Experience in audit support, process improvement, and financial system automation
Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and team leadership skills
