Senior NetSuite Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior NetSuite Developer to join our remote team. This is a hands-on technical role focused exclusively on NetSuite scripting, customization, and systems integration. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with SuiteScript, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across international teams.

This is a full-time remote position based in the Philippines, with required working hours that allow for collaboration across both U.S. Eastern Time (ET) and Australian Eastern Time (AET). Daily time zone overlap is essential to ensure alignment across the global team.

Key Responsibilities:

NetSuite Development
- Design, develop, and deploy customizations using SuiteScript 2.x and the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF)
- Build and maintain user event scripts, client scripts, scheduled scripts, and RESTlets - Customize and enhance NetSuite functionality based on internal development specifications
- Manage source control and deployment of customizations using SDF and project repositories

System Integration
- Design and implement integrations between NetSuite and other platforms using REST/SOAP APIs or iPaaS tools (e.g., Boomi, Celigo, MuleSoft)
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues to ensure data accuracy and process reliability
- Maintain integration documentation, including endpoints, authentication flows, and data mappings

Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with functional and technical team members to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to continuously improve development standards
- Coordinate with QA and project leads to support testing and deployment activities

Qualifications and Skills

Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.0) and SDF
- Strong experience developing integrations using APIs or iPaaS tools such as Boomi, Celigo, or MuleSoft
- Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git)
- Solid understanding of NetSuite records, forms, workflows, and user permissions

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing NetSuite customizations using SDF or deployment bundles
- Familiarity with data mapping, error handling, and performance tuning in integrations 
- Experience working in a remote environment with distributed teams across multiple time zones
