Role Overview
We are seeking a well-rounded Social Media & Marketing Virtual Assistant with strong marketing fundamentals who can work independently. This role supports social media management, paid advertising on Facebook and Instagram (required), and exposure to TikTok and YouTube (a plus), as well as landing pages and email/SMS automation.
The ideal candidate understands how marketing efforts relate to lead quality and conversions, communicates proactively, and completes tasks accurately with minimal supervision.
Social Media & Paid Advertising (Meta-Focused but not Exclusive)
- Set up, manage, and optimize paid ad campaigns primarily on Facebook and Instagram (Exposure to TikTok and YouTube is a plus, but not required)
- Confidently execute:
- Campaign and ad set setup
- Audience targeting fundamentals
- Creative and budget optimization
- A/B testing and experimentation
- Reviewing performance and making informed adjustments
- Use Meta Business Suite to monitor results and execute campaigns independently
- Advanced or specialist-level expertise is not required, but candidates must be comfortable navigating the platform without assistance
Marketing Fundamentals (High Priority)
- Solid understanding of core marketing concepts of:
- Funnels
- Lead quality
- Conversion intent
- Works independently and follows through on assigned tasks
- Proactively communicate updates, questions, suggests ideas, potential issues and follows through consistently
- Reviews work carefully before submission and maintains strong attention to detail
Landing Pages
- Create and edit landing pages as needed
- Implement provided designs and content accurately using:
- Page builders
- Layout matching
- Copy/paste execution
- Basic HTML (when applicable)
- Complete tasks correctly without repeated revisions
Email & SMS Automation
- Set up and manage email campaigns and automations using platforms such as:
- Mailchimp
- HubSpot
- Klaviyo
- ActiveCampaign
- Manage SMS campaigns using Sakari
- Review campaign performance and provide basic reporting
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working with medical practices or service-based businesses
- Broader marketing exposure, such as:
- Copywriting support
- Website coordination
- Campaign planning
Interview Expectations:
Candidates should be prepared to screen share during the interview and walk through their past Meta Ads work, either live or using screenshots. They should be able to clearly explain their thought process behind campaign setup, targeting decisions, optimization adjustments, and performance outcomes. Candidates are also expected to demonstrate comfort using Meta Business Suite, even if they are not advanced specialists.
Qualifications:
- Solid hands-on experience using Meta Business Suite (Facebook and Instagram required; TikTok and YouTube are a plus)
- Experience managing paid ad campaigns, including:
- Ad and campaign setup
- Audience targeting
- Creative and budget optimization
- A/B testing and experimentation
- Performance monitoring and optimization
- Experience in Email & SMS Automation
- Experience in Setting up in Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or ActiveCampaign
- Experience in Setting up in Sakari for SMS is a plus
- Experience in Setting up Campaign performance review and reporting
- Experience in creating and editing Landing Pages
- Proficient in Advertising Platforms, Email Marketing, marketing funnels, and Marketing Automation Systems
Basic requirements
- Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly
- Must have relevant work experience
- Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding [mandatory]
- Must be available for video meetings with your camera on
- Must have no other clients during required work hours
