Software Engineer Team Lead (Full Stack)

About the Company

We are an AI-powered construction technology platform built for specialty trade subcontractors. We help them win more bids, protect margins, and cut the operational chaos between preconstruction and project delivery.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will lead a small team of engineers while actively contributing to the codebase. Your focus is execution—shipping high-quality features, maintaining velocity, and ensuring the team delivers consistently. You are not just a coordinator. You are a builder who leads from the front.

Key Responsibilities

-Feature delivery from concept to production across backend, frontend, and integrations

-Day-to-day engineering leadership for a small, high-performing team

-Code quality and standards (reviews, testing discipline, maintainability)

-Sprint execution and delivery cadence (working closely with VP of Development)

-Hands-on development in: C#/.NET backend services, Angular / TypeScript frontend

-Collaboration with product and leadership to translate requirements into shipped features

-Debugging and problem-solving across the stack under real production pressure

-Mentorship of engineers—raising the bar on output, thinking, and ownership

Required Skills & Qualifications

-7–10+ years of software development experience

-2+ years leading or mentoring engineers (formal or informal)

-Strong expertise in: C#/.NET backend development, RESTful APIs, SQL / relational database design

-Experience working in cloud environments (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable)

-Ability to own features end-to-end, not just tickets

-Strong communication skills—you can align engineers and communicate trade-offs clearly
