Structural Engineer (Solar Farm Projects) | Permanent WFH

Structural Engineer Designer sought to perform structural calculations and create technical drawings for solar farm infrastructure. Role focuses on designing piles, steel structures, foundations, and solar farm buildings for renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural calculations and analysis for piles, steel structures, and foundations. 

• Create structural drawings for solar farm structures and buildings. 

• Design foundation systems and steel framework for solar installations. 

• Prepare technical documentation and engineering reports. 

• Ensure designs meet industry codes and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. 

• Experience with structural design and solar farm projects preferred. 

• Proficiency in the listed software programs. 

• Knowledge of building codes and structural design standards. 

• Strong analytical and technical drawing skills.

Design & Analysis Tools Needed for the Role:

• LPile – Lateral load analysis of piles 

• Mathcad – Structural engineering calculations 

• AutoCAD – Drafting and pile layout plans 

• Civil 3D – Site grading, surfaces, alignments 

• Project Management & Documentation: 

• Excel – Data analysis, design tables, interoperability 

• Bluebeam Revu – Plan markups and PDF reviews 

• ProjectWise – Document management and plan sharing 

• Microsoft Word/PowerPoint – Reporting and presentations 

• ASCE 7 / IBC / ACI 318 / AISC Manual – Structural design codes and standards 

• Nextracker / Array Technologies specs – Tracker system design inputs
