About the role At Anglian Dental, we’re passionate about supporting dental practices with exceptional customer service. We are looking for a skilled Senior Dental Engineer ready to take the next step in their career as a Technical Manager. In this leadership role, you’ll transition from hands-on fieldwork to mentoring engineers, managing operations, and delivering high-level remote technical support.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth service delivery by guiding the engineering team, troubleshooting complex issues, and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Providing reactive technical support for incoming service call-out requests and ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
Maintaining SLAs to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Building relationships with clients.
Offering remote technical support to service and installation engineers.
Providing ongoing coaching and feedback to support team members, fostering their professional growth.
Monitoring and adhering to performance indicators and customer feedback for management review.
Managing diaries for the engineers within the allocated area.
Ensuring successful completion of engineer job sheets including recommendations within the allocated area.
Advising clients on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of dental equipment within their practices.
Preparing and following up on quotes for customers based on further work recommendations.
Creating invoices efficiently within allocated areas.
Addressing customer inquiries regarding invoices promptly and delivering effective resolutions.
Attending sites to complete repair works in case of tricky faults or high workload.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and product development, to communicate customer feedback and contribute to product improvement.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Profound understanding of dental equipment, including their use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience in managing a team
Project Management Skills
Capable of resolving technical issues both remotely and on-site
Proficient in using various software and hardware
Data-Driven Decision Making Skills
Understands the business landscape and market trends
