Remote opportunity working in the Philippines for a US company! 

 

Job Summary 

The Timecard Services Representative plays a key client-facing role within PuzzleHR’s Managed Payroll department. This position is responsible for supporting clients and their employees in managing and correcting timecard data. The representative will proactively monitor timecard entries, reach out to employees to resolve discrepancies, train users on self-service punch corrections, and input corrections on their behalf when necessary. Additionally, the role includes generating weekly summary reports detailing resolved, pending, and anomalous entries (e.g., California meal premium violations or excessive overtime).  

Job Duties    

  • Monitor client employee timecards daily for missing punches, anomalies, or threshold violations. 
  • Communicate with employees to resolve timecard discrepancies and encourage use of self-service tools. 
  • Provide support by entering timecard corrections when employees are unable to do so. 
  • Educate employees and managers on system use and best practices for time entry and management. 
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all outreach and corrections made. 
  • Compile and distribute weekly rollup reports for clients outlining: 
  • All corrections completed 
  • Corrections still pending 
  • Anomalies (e.g., unapproved overtime, missed meals/rest breaks) 
  • Partner with Payroll Engineers and Client Executives to escalate unresolved or recurring issues. 
  • Maintain a high level of customer service while managing a high volume of inbound and outbound communications. 
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned. 

Required Skills  

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization abilities. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot time entry issues and educate users with patience and professionalism. 
  • Familiarity with timekeeping systems (e.g., Paylocity, UKG, ADP, etc.) preferred. 
  • Attention to detail and comfort working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to filter, sort, and use formulas for data validation and reporting. 

Education and Experience 

  • A minimum of three (3) years in related customer service/data entry role(s). 
  • A minimum of two (2) years in payroll experience preferred. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  
  • Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times. 
  • Must be able to participate in video conferences/meetings.
