Position: Video Editor

Salary: PHP 54,000 - PHP 62,000/month

Working Hours & Conditions: Australian Working Hours; full-time (remote) - 40 hrs/week

OVERVIEW:

The company is hiring a full-time remote Video Editor based in the Philippines to join our growing team.

They produce high-quality podcasts for startup founders, operators and investors across Australia. Their shows sit at the intersection of tech, business and storytelling — and editing is a core part of how they create impact.

They are looking for someone who takes pride in craft, understands pacing and narrative, and can help them elevate the visual standard of long-form and short-form content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Long-form video podcasts (45–90 mins)
• Short-form vertical cutdowns (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) YouTube versions (titles, pacing, light optimisation) Occasional trailers & promotional assets
• Upload and publish finished podcast and video episodes to all designated platforms (hosting, YouTube and socials), including metadata, show notes and scheduling.
• We provide templates, brand guidelines and structured workflows — but we want someone who can think beyond just “cutting clips” and understands story, retention and rhythm.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (active subscription required) 
• Strong understanding of YouTube & short-form pacing
• Experience editing long-form conversational content (podcasts, interviews, panels) 
• Clean audio syncing and basic audio balancing skills
• Strong internet connection + ability to meet weekly deadlines 
• Available full-time (40 hrs/week), remote
• PORTFOLIO is required.

PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have):

• Experience editing podcast content specifically
• Familiarity with startup, tech, venture capital or business content 
• Motion graphics experience (Premiere or After Effects) 
• Thumbnail or light design experience
