WordPress Developer (PHP)

As an experienced WordPress Developer, you will be working as part of a project team to develop complex custom themes based on detailed specifications and prototype designs in Figma. You will work with the WordPress support teams to help nurture long-term client relationships. You will be trained in unique approach to Enterprise WordPress that includes Bedrock methodology, version control and package management. You will be enrolled in a skills development program, including full training, assessment and certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on specification and design requirements
• Perform website updates, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with designers and content creators to ensure the successful deliverability of a project.
• Optimize website performance and user experience
• Keep up to date with the latest WordPress updates, trends and best practices
• Conduct quality assurance testing and ensure websites are cross-browser and cross-device compatible
• Provide timely and efficient technical support to clients

What We Offer:

• Salary: PHP 50,000 - PHP 65,000 per month depending on experience

Remote Work Requirements:

As a remote employee, you are expected to have access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace. You should also be able to communicate effectively with team members through various virtual communication tools. Working hours will be 8:30 - 17:00 UK hours.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development
• Strong working knowledge of Bootstrap Frontend Framework, SASS, Git, jQuery and Advanced Custom Fields
• Experience with website optimization and SEO techniques
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with different departments
• Own device (laptop / computer) required.
