Most Revit roles are about drawing buildings; this role is about building intelligence. We need a technical specialist who lives in the Family Editor. If you enjoy the "heavy lifting" of Boolean logic, trigonometry, and nested parameter structures, this is the role for you. You won’t just be drawing furniture; you will be the architect of its digital DNA.

The Technical Core

  Logic-Based Modeling: Develop complex IF/THEN formulas to control geometry and visibility.

  Intelligent Families: Build nested, "stress-tested" families that maintain integrity during user modification.

  
  


• 
  

  Data Mastery: Use Type Catalogs (.txt) and Shared Parameters to drive hundreds of product variations from a single file.

  
  


• 
  

  Optimization: Audit models for file-size efficiency and ensure they meet international BIM standards.

  
  

Must-Haves

• 
  

  3–5 Years of dedicated Revit Family/Content creation (not just project drafting).

  
  


• 
  

  Math Proficiency: High comfort level with parametric formulas and constraints.

  
  


• 
  

  Standards: Strong understanding of LOD 350/400 requirements.
