This role is an opportunity to grow organisation’s Fraud Intelligence and Investigation capabilities within Fraud Risk Management (FRM). The role will involve proactive and reactive elements to identify, assess, and lead Fraud prevention for the organization

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies, such as creating fraud detection rules and identifying vulnerabilities in the system
  • Analyse and provide the comprehensive impact of fraud in terms of legal & regulatory requirements, operational and financial risk/losses
  • Perform process and system gap assessment to provide mitigation and build governance for the issue. Build a Risk Log and keep track on adherence to the issue highlighted
  • Monitoring and analyzing call and data traffic, wherever applicable to detect patterns and anomalies that may indicate fraud
  • Work on big data for trend analysis and provide updates to management
  • Conducting relevant ethical hacking assessments to identify vulnerabilities in the organization's systems and processes
  • Work on projects and investigations, deliver reports, and contribute to briefings to line management and relevant stakeholders. This will include the analysis of open source information, internal information, liaison with internal/external stakeholders, and analysis of available data

Functional Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to accurately analyze findings by the team to prevent incorrect information and negative impact on business operations
  • Demonstrate problem-solving with data through independent interpretation
  • To work cross-functionally with other business areas to share root cause analysis and fix issues by using appeals to reason, data and facts through efficient solutions

  • Supporting and encouraging team members to be proactive in identifying opportunities to share best practices with SMT and Managers to improve the control environment in the organization Managing and overseeing team performance through performance planning, coaching, and performance appraisals
  • Ability to have discussions with stakeholders and team members on setting stringent auditing procedures for improving control and governance processes in the organization with mutual agreement
  • Providing training and support to other employees on fraud prevention measures

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline) with 7-10 years of overall experience 
  • CFE certification or any other Fraud certification would be preferred

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years in a Fraud Management role
