PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Financial & Controllership Leadership
•    Lead and oversee global controllership functions, including financial close, statutory reporting, and internal controls across multiple jurisdictions.
•    Provide strategic financial insights and partner with client CFOs and Controllers to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
•    Act as a senior advisor to multinational clients, ensuring alignment with global finance strategies and compliance frameworks.
•    Influence and scale the BPO team, contributing to the long-term vision and capability development of the FAAS practice.


Financial Reporting & Compliance
•    Oversee the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements under IFRS, UK & Irish GAAP, and other international standards.
•    Ensure robust compliance with local and international accounting regulations, tax requirements, and corporate policies.
•    Lead technical accounting assessments and provide guidance on complex transactions and regulatory changes.


Client Engagement & Business Development
•    Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior finance leaders in multinational corporations and publicly listed companies.
•    Lead proposal development, pricing strategies, and stakeholder engagement for new business opportunities.


Team Leadership, Transition Management & Project Management
•    Manage and mentor a high-performing team of finance professionals across multiple geographies.
•    Design and implement project plans, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and budget adherence.
•    Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration and technical excellence.


Systems & Process Optimisation
•    Drive transformation initiatives through automation, standardisation, and system enhancements.
•    Leverage ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, and Netsuite to optimize financial operations and reporting.
•    Champion the use of digital tools including ONESOURCE, Caseware, and other electronic auditing platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS
•    Recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
•    Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience, including significant controllership or finance leadership roles in multinational environments.
•    Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and familiarity with other GAAPs (e.g., German, French, Spanish) is a plus.
•    Proven experience managing international financial reporting, audits, and compliance across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
•    Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale finance transformation and system implementation projects.
•    Experience developing and scaling delivery teams, shared service centres and GBS centres
•    Experience with procurement functions desirable 
•    Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Netsuite) and financial reporting tools.
•    Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.
•    Fluency in English
