The Safety, Health, Environment and Security (SHES) Specialist is responsible for the execution, implementation, and monitoring of the company's comprehensive SHES programs. Serving as the site's designated Safety Officer, Pollution Control Officer, and Security Officer, you will ensure total compliance with occupational safety, environmental laws, and asset security standards. By managing risks, leading incident investigations, and conducting critical compliance audits, you will play a vital role in protecting company personnel, information assets, physical facilities, and the surrounding environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  Health & Safety Management: Conduct OSH audits, risk assessments, lineworks patrolling, and safety training across sites. Oversee the daily clinic, treatment room, and lactation room operations.

  
  


• 
  

  Environmental Compliance: Serve as the Pollution Control Officer. Oversee waste disposal with third-party suppliers, manage environmental programs, and lead contamination incident investigations.

  
  


• 
  

  Security & Threat Pre-emption: Oversee the Security Detachment Commander, review local peace and order situations, and lead investigations regarding theft, fraud, or policy violations.

  
  


• 
  

  Regulatory & Audit Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly performance trends, insurance assessments, and mandatory regulatory compliance permits to government bodies (DOLE, DENR, BFP, DOH).

  
  


• 
  

  Emergency Response & Inter-Agency Coordination: Assist external authorities (Police, Fire Bureau, Medical Teams) in search, rescue, recovery, and evacuation management.

  
  


• 
  

  Information & Asset Protection: Maintain the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of documentation while ensuring strict conformance to ISO IMS and ISMS policies.

  Has an Analytical Eye: Capable of evaluating complex safety trends, identifying hazard root causes, and recommending preventative actions.

  Is Detail-Oriented: Thorough in auditing site hazards, evaluating project risk controls, and preserving evidence for insurance assessments.

  
  


• 
  

  Is a Collaborator & Communicator: Able to comfortably act as a communications co-lead and maintain strong relationships with internal personnel and external government stakeholders.

  
  


• 
  

  Is Highly Organized: Efficient at managing daily operations, administrative requests (purchase orders, payments), and cross-site programs simultaneously.

  
  

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• 
  

  Education: Bachelor’s degree holder.

  
  


• 
  

  License Required: Registered Engineer (Preferably Electrical Engineer)

  
  


• 
  

  Certifications/Accreditations: At least SO3(Safety Officer 3) Eligible.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience: At least 2 years of professional SHES-related work experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Advantage: License to Drive with DL Codes A, A1, B, B1 and B2 

  
  

Technical / Functional Skills:

• 
  

  Safety Audit & Inspection: Advanced understanding of OSH protocols, inspection factors, and manual enforcement (Desired Competency Level 3).

  
  


• 
  

  Project Hazard Assessment: Knowledge of hazard identification, analysis, risk control evaluation, and mitigation processes (Desired Competency Level 3).

  
  


• 
  

  OSH Learning & Development: Ability to design technical/leadership safety development programs and evaluate curriculum effectiveness (Desired Competency Level 4).

  
  


• 
  

  Safety Performance Management: Strong grasp of managing safety programs, logging incident statistics, and tracking hazardous items (Desired Competency Level 4).
