Job Description - Sales Engineer


Responsibilities







    1. Handle Inbound Enquiries
  • Respond to all inbound phone, email, and web enquiries professionally and promptly.

  • Assess client needs and provide technically appropriate solutions across pumps, liquid transfer systems, pipework, and accessories.

    2. Sales Support & Proposal Management

  • Generate and send quotations in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and technical compliance. F

  • ollow up on outstanding proposals and track lead progression through the sales funnel.

  • Liaise with engineering and operations teams in Australia for technical clarifications and order fulfilment.

    3. CRM Maintenance (Salesforce)

  • Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce, including client contact details, opportunity stages, and proposal documentation.

  • Ensure all follow-ups, notes, and pipeline data are accurately captured.

    4. Client Communication

  • Draft high-quality written correspondence with correct grammar and a professional tone.

  • Conduct video or voice calls as needed, with fluent spoken English and confident presentation.

  • Represent the Liquimech brand with professionalism, technical knowledge, and integrity.




Requirements





  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pump systems, liquid transfer, or fluid handling

  • Prior exposure to technical sales or customer support preferred

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

  • Highly organised with strong time management and follow-through

  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word)

  • Strong problem-solving ability with a customer-first mindset

  • Able to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams




Work Arrangement




  • Work Setup: On-site

  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 9:00 am flexi start time, should complete nine (9) hours work
