So what does a Sales Insights Analyst really do? Think of yourself as someone who is responsible for qualifying leads at the initial stages of the sales funnel. You will research decision makers, connect with and educate prospects, and qualify leads before handing them off to the Sales Team. You will be responsible for servicing inbound/outbound sales and related inquiries, engaging and qualifying all prospective customers. You will be the first touchpoint for prospects and have the opportunity to set the tone for the rest of the sales cycle.

Imagine yourself working closely with the whole CCO in identifying and defining research directions consistent with TaskUs business strategy. You will analyze target markets to identify sales and opportunities to drive strategic direction for TaskUs. You will collect and analyze data on current prospective clients, TaskUs competitors, Technology, and relevant news by engaging in intensive research on market information, market segmentation, and market trends for the Customer Experience industry. Your outputs will provide critical research findings and reports for key industry trends, strategic sales engagements, sales account plans, product/technology investment, and business case formulation. In addition, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis, insights, and presentations for marketing and sales. 

As a Sales Insights Analyst, you will:

  • Qualify leads at the initial stages of the sales funnel. 

  • Research decision-makers, connect with and educate prospects, as well as qualify leads before handing them off to the Sales Team. 

  • Understand different verticals (industries)

  • Create strategy to capture relevant and emerging markets

  • Identify disruptors & Track competitors 

  • Uncover emerging tech product categories through research

  • Identify hyper-growth companies and their decision-makers.

  • Lead generation, data hygiene, and management via Salesforce.com

  • Staying up to date with new services/products and plans

  • Real-time response, engagement, and qualifying of inbound leads and inquiries

  • Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence

  • Collaborates with the whole sales team to plan and manage the research projects and activities. 

  • Prepare research reports on industries, companies, products, and trends using a combination of primary and secondary research techniques daily and weekly.

  • Consults and works with marketing, client services, consulting, and sales to craft and create research plans in their respective business units and industry verticals.

  • Create compelling research presentations that tell a story in a manner that sales and marketing can use with their clients and by Taskus leadership to develop company strategy

  • Builds and Maintains a knowledge base within their respective area of research and be able to place research findings in the appropriate business context based on that knowledge

  • Design specialized research strategies, both qualitative and quantitative that meet project objectives and advise on the best sources for completing current and future projects

  • Stay current on industry and market news relating to key areas, industries correlate potential, and competitors.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills across various channels (email, social media, phone).

  • The capability to understand customer pain points, requirements and correlate potential business to the value provided by TaskUs.

  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables.

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research experience.

  • Strong analytical skills to manage, manipulate and analyze raw data to provide business insights, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with attention to detail. 

  • Experience in primary and secondary research tactics
