SAP BASIS Environment Manager

Work Schedule: Morning Shift

Work Setup: Hybrid (3x onsite per week) | Makati

Eligibility: Open to local and expat candidates currently residing in the Philippines

Responsibilities:

• Lead the SAP BASIS team in managing the technical landscape for SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Oversee system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management across SAP environments.
• Manage SAP environments across development, quality, pre-production, and production systems.
• Define and implement environment strategy, including refresh cycles, transport management, and cutover planning.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure system availability, performance, and compliance.
• Support RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, and SAP BTP deployments and integrations.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, job scheduling, and interface stability.
• Ensure adherence to change management, incident management, and release management processes.
• Provide technical leadership during go-lives, disaster recovery drills, and system audits.
• Mentor junior BASIS consultants and contribute to technical knowledge sharing and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10 to 12 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, with at least 3 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong expertise in: SAP S/4HANA system architecture, SAP HANA database administration, Transport Management System (TMS)
• SAP Solution Manager / Focused Run
• Experience with SAP on Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP BTP.
• Familiarity with SAP Landscape Management (LaMa) and SAP Maintenance Planner.
• Strong understanding of clean core principles, system extensibility, and technical upgrade planning.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP S/4HANA System Administration.
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Life Sciences, Banking, Utilities).
• Exposure to DevOps, automation tools, and monitoring platforms (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).

Educational Background:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
