We are seeking a highly skilled HRIT Data Analyst-Remote Manila with a strong focus on data extraction of large data sets. This role is responsible for gathering payroll-related data from multiple systems, ensuring data accuracy, and generating insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with data structures, Excel, and data visualization tools, along with a deep understanding of SAP payroll processes and compliance requirements.
The candidate should also have the ability to write technical extracts with mapping from source systems, and possess a strong understanding of existing data, table structures, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Extract, transform, and analyze payroll-related data from various systems, databases, and third-party sources.
• Develop and maintain automated data extraction processes to improve payroll reporting efficiency.
• Work closely with the payroll team to validate extracted data, ensuring proper calculations for wages, taxes, and deductions.
• Support payroll audits by extracting and compiling accurate historical payroll data as required.
• Maintain data integrity and security while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
• Develop queries, scripts, and macros to improve payroll data processing and reporting.
• Provide training and support on payroll data extraction best practices and tools.
• Provide mapping documentation from source to target system.
• Oversee the extracts built for the conversion tool.
• Conduct data conversions.
• Address conversion-related issues or adjustments needed based on test results.
• Troubleshoot data conversion errors based on feedback from vendors.
• Build extracts with transformations from source systems.
• Provide extract files for each prototype build.
• Work with conversion tools and conversion resources

• 3+ years of experience in payroll data analysis, with a strong emphasis on data extraction and reporting.
• Proficiency in data structures, Excel (Pivot Tables, VBA, Macros), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with payroll software (SAP).
• Strong understanding of SAP payroll processes.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams

Salary range: 50-120k
