Job Description - SAP Functional Tester S/4HANA Migration

Location: Metro Manila (Hybrid – Onsite & WFH as needed)

About the Role:
Appcentric Solutions is hiring an experienced SAP Functional Tester to support our S/4HANA migration initiative. The role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of SAP functionalities during the transition from legacy systems, by validating process integrity and identifying potential issues early.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with SAP Functional and Technical teams to develop and execute structured testing strategies.
Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Write and maintain test scenarios, scripts, and documentation based on business process requirements.
Log, track, and manage defects through resolution using tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or SAP Solution Manager.
Support data preparation and coordinate test cycles with business and project teams.
Align testing deliverables with project milestones and ensure compliance with standards and timelines.
Provide input on test process improvements and risk identification during each phase.

Required Qualifications:

4–6 years of SAP functional testing experience, ideally across MM, SD, FICO, or HCM modules.
Hands-on exposure to at least one S/4HANA migration or implementation project.
Strong ability to write and execute detailed test cases with clear documentation.
Proficient in using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or SAP Solution Manager.
Analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.

Preferred:

Familiarity with SAP Signavio or business process mapping tools.
ISTQB or related testing certifications are a plus.
