Job Description - Senior Accountant

Ubiquity is hiring for a Senior Accountant to consolidate financial statement preparation and reporting, general ledger accountability, prepare and record journal entries, maintain and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers, payroll processing, and compliance with laws and regulations, and other duties as they arise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Entry & Record Keeping
Enter financial transactions into accounting software
Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, receipts, and payments
File and retrieve financial documents
Accounts Payable & Receivable Support
Assist with invoice processing and vendor payments
Help generate and send customer invoices
Follow up on outstanding receivables and reconcile customer accounts
Bank & Account Reconciliation
Reconcile bank statements and internal records
Identify and correct discrepancies
Clerical & Administrative Support
Assist with preparing financial reports
Schedule and manage meetings, communications, and document flow
Help prepare for audits by gathering necessary documents
Expense Reports & Credit Card Reconciliation
Review and enter employee expense reports
Match credit card transactions to receipts and ledger accounts

Skills & Tools Typically Required

Technical Skills: Netsuite(QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite), Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, communication
Knowledge: Basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, familiarity with GAAP is a plus
