Senior Accountant

About the job: Senior Accountant (Cebu) | Onsite

Shift: 1pm-10pm, Mon-Fri (Fixed Schedule)

Work Setup: Onsite (Cebu City)

Requirements:

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• At least 5 years of work experience
• Already a supervisor for at least 2 years
• Background in Financial and Management Reporting and General Ledger Accounting
• Knowledgeable about government statutory compliance and reporting
• Knowledgeable with payroll processing

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports).
• Handle tax compliance, including VAT, EWT, and income tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submission to the BIR.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Ensure compliance with PFRS and government regulations.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
• Work with other departments to provide financial insights and reports.
