Financial Oversight: Review and approve all draft financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with necessary regulations and standards.

Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries regarding transactions and monthly financial reviews, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and service. 

Staff Training: Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices and updates in the finance industry, ensuring all team members are up-to-date with the latest knowledge and skills. 

Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with tax and payroll teams to ensure project completion, accuracy, and overall financial efficiency. 

Policy Development: Develop and update financial policies and procedures to meet industry and regulatory standards, ensuring the company's financial operations are always at the forefront of compliance and efficiency. 

Project Management: Manage and oversee bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and administrative projects, ensuring efficiency and team productivity, while also ensuring all projects align with the company's financial goals. 

Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, provide forecasts, and advise on financial planning, supporting the company's strategic decision-making processes. 

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Previous experience in a similar role

Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work collaboratively with various teams

Strong understanding of financial software and MS Office Suite

Knowledge of federal, state, and local financial legislation
