Company Profile:

Our client is a BPO company supporting a well-established automotive brand.

• BPO company background - BPO and offshore staffing services provider founded in 2005. They specialize in helping businesses build full-time, dedicated teams in the Philippines.
• Automotive company background - Exclusive distributor of electric vehicles imported from China.

This role will contribute to both organizations, with approximately 75% of responsibilities focused on the automotive business and 25% dedicated to BPO operations. Based in Ortigas Pasig

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible in working across both companies, with exposure to local dealership accounting (installments, sales, BIR compliance) and BPO finance processes (U.S. client billing, reporting, and support). All payroll and operational expenses are Philippine-based, and the only U.S. aspect involves client payments and billing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle full accounting cycle for both companies
• Prepare monthly financial reports and oversee tax compliance
• Track vehicle sales, installment payments, and revenue recognition
• Processing bank payments, client deposits, auto loan transactions, inventory management, invoice generation, and government agency reporting.
• Manage client billing and reporting for U.S.-based accounts
• Supervise junior staff and help improve finance processes
• Assist with ad hoc tasks across finance and admin teams
• Around 25% of the work will support BPO tasks (i.e. payroll (15th and 30th), and invoices)
• Around 75% of the work will support Automotive Industry operations (i.e. BIR, Compliance, Service Invoice for Customer, Servicing Materials, Shipment and Delivery related transactions, and other adhoc accounting related tasks as in a retail business)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance (CPA preferred)
• At least 4 years relevant experience in general accounting
• Experience in Local accounting that can handle government compliance, taxes, and other local requirements rather than someone primarily experienced with US accounting.
• Open to candidates from any industry; however, a background in retail, dealership, or BPO would be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP or billing practices – Advantageous
• Experience in using Accounting Software (Quickbooks)
• Knowledgeable in Banking and Financing due to frequent auto loan processing for vehicle purchases.
• Strong attention to detail and leadership potential

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Sometimes work with Canadian, so the shift will be start either 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM - the management will coordinate the changing of schedule to the candidate)
