Senior Angular Developer

Pointwest is looking for a Senior Angular Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality web applications using the latest Angular features. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and global clients to deliver scalable, performant solutions that meet user needs. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Angular applications using HTML, SCSS, TypeScript, and Angular Material.

• Turn UI/UX designs into responsive and interactive interfaces.

• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs.

• Use tools like Angular CLI, ESLint, and testing frameworks (Karma/Jest) to ensure code quality.

• Lead peer reviews, code walkthroughs, and support deployment activities.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with global stakeholders.

• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Success Metrics

• High client satisfaction and minimal production issues.

• On-time, within-scope delivery of development tasks.

• Clean, maintainable code with strong test coverage.

• Demonstrated leadership in process improvement and knowledge sharing.

• Continued learning and upskilling through training or certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• At least 5 years of hands-on Angular development experience, with 2+ years in a senior/lead role.

• Proficient in Angular, TypeScript, SCSS, RESTful APIs, and responsive web design.

• Familiar with modern Angular architecture (standalone components, signals, dependency injection).

• Experience with testing tools (Jest, Karma) and frontend tooling (Angular CLI, ESLint).

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in Agile environments and mentoring developers is a plus.
