Senior Application Support Specialist

Job Expectations:

• Employment Type: Full-Time; Permanent
• Work Setup & Location: Hybrid - BGC, Taguig
• Work Schedule: Mondays - Fridays, night shift
• Budget: Php 60,000 - Php 90,000
• Industry: IT Services and IT Consulting

Responsibilities:

• Lead the smooth and quality-assured transition of application features from development to production environments
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of business application service operations
• Lead the development of the Operations Enablement service catalogue to further improve service delivery
• Run/Lead small to mid-sized projects related to operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the technology and/or financial industry
• Proficient in relational databases (SQL Server/PostgresDB)
• Experience in programming languages such as Java and/or Python is required
• Experience in cloud services such as AWS (certification is a plus)
• Experience with incident and problem management
• Knowledge Snowflake is a plus
• Knowledge in Business Intelligence tools (Qlik) is a plus
• Proficiency with collaboration and project tools like Jira and Confluence
• Good understanding or have gained experience on at least one common Enterprise Agile Framework e.g., Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM, etc. (certification is a plus)
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to see the big picture, understand how the details contribute to that, and think through the cause-and-effect relationships that can create change
• Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple operations/projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Accurate, effective, and independent working style
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and confidently interact with business users
• Knowledge about private markets would be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
