Your Role & Scope at SellerX

At SellerX, we’re growing our Tech team and looking for a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to help lay the foundation for a truly data-driven organization. You’ll play a key role in our growing Data team by designing scalable pipelines and building robust data models that generate insights and value across all departments.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll be working closely with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure our data architecture supports fast, reliable, and actionable decision-making.

In Detail, you’ll be hands-on:

• Architecting and maintaining scalable data pipelines and models using dbt, Snowflake, or BigQuery

• Translating complex business requirements into clean, production-grade SQL and modular data structures

• Driving technical standards for data modeling, governance, and pipeline performance

• Partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver trusted, business-ready data at scale

• Automating workflows and enhancing reliability with Python and orchestration tools like Airflow

• Representing the Data team locally in Manila, fostering technical excellence and mentorship

Requirements to thrive in your new role:

• Advanced skills in SQL, dbt, and cloud data platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery

• Strong foundation in data architecture, modeling, and analytical performance tuning

• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting within data pipelines

• Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset and ability to align stakeholders across teams

• 4+ years of senior-level experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Warehousing

Nice to Have:

• Experience with job orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)

• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI)

• Broader programming experience beyond Python (e.g., JavaScript, Scala)

• Exposure to CI/CD practices in data workflows

• Experience managing cloud-based data infrastructure and cost optimization
